Meet Ronda Lynch
Ex Officio Representing Vocational Rehabilitation
Ronda is the District Supervisor for the South Dakota Department of Human Services, Division of Rehabilitation Services (Vocational Rehabilitation), where she supervises seven Rehabilitation Counselors, an Employment Specialist Coordinator, and four support staff who provide services to people with disabilities in 11 counties in Western South Dakota. Ronda is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a professional counselor with specialized knowledge and skills to work with people with disabilities. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of human/social services and has extensive experience in working with people who have neurodevelopmental disorders or psychiatric diagnoses.
In addition to supervisory duties, Ronda is involved in many activities through Vocational Rehabilitation. These include the Project SEARCH Program, the Workplace Disability Network of the Black Hills, Project SKILLS, various youth programs, and business outreach development. Ronda is also the representative member of the South Dakota Human Resources Professional Network for the Council of State Administrators for Vocational Rehabilitation.
She received her Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, and was a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Ronda received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Sociology, and History from the University of Maryland European Division.
